The Roundabout

This deserves to be mentioned on its own. Stoplights are not popular in rural Ireland from what I can tell. Instead, welcome to the roundabout.

...

I have too many mixed feelings about this, I don't think I can talk about it.

I visit Ireland as often as I can just to drive the roundabouts.
I LOVE them!
I'm supporting transportation plans to import them to the US.

Oh, they have their positives. However, the multiple near collisions that occurred as I was trying to figure out which unmarked exit would allow me to continue in my chosen direction destroyed part of their charm.

I love roundabouts also, but only in other countries.

They put a couple in my hometown in MO and nobody gets how they're supposed to work and so opts for the most moronic driving technique instead.

They put roundabouts in Columbia? That's absurd. Really.

But. Ok. Gotta know where, Katie! I'm going to be in the area next week and I could use a laugh:)
